Translation Fee Calculation

Fees are based on the word/character count of the source document.
Rates may vary depending on:
- The complexity of the subject matter.
- Urgent requests requiring expedited delivery.

The translation fee does not include:

Special formatting adjustments upon request (e.g., document design, advanced PowerPoint formatting, etc.).
Printing or producing hard copies.
Certified translations or notarized translations.
Revision of translations: One free revision per translation is included (does not cover changes to the original content).
Work on holidays or Tet: 200% of the standard daily rate applies to statutory holidays.

Translation Service Cancellation Policy

Cancel before translation: forfeiture of the deposit.
Cancel after partial translation: fees charged based on completed work.
Cancel after translation completion: 100% of the service fee is charged.

Quoted rates are applied per working hour and multiplied by actual hours worked.
The above rates apply only to events held in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. For events in other provinces or abroad, fees will be communicated after receiving full event details.
Fees exclude VAT, travel expenses, and meals for interpreters (if applicable).

Overtime Charges

Extra time under 15 minutes: free.
From 15 to under 30 minutes: rounded to 0.5 hours.
30 minutes or more: rounded to 1 hour.
Overtime rate: 150% of standard hourly fee.

Preparation for Interpreting Sessions

Online preparation sessions under 15 minutes: free.
Other preparation sessions: fees negotiated in advance depending on content and format.
Work on holidays/Tet: 200% of standard rate.

Interpreting Cancellation Policy

Cancellation timing is based on working days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays), counted backwards from the event date.
Cancellations are valid only after a signed and effective contract. Notification must be sent via email to Pivie’s representative during office hours (9:00–18:00).
Cancellation fees are calculated on the total agreed service cost as follows:
